We offer a number of day experiences at Hill Farm, available upon request and prices depending on the number of people and time of year. Please contact us for more information.
Outdoor Cookery
Our family enjoy cooking outside and soaking in our magnificent view. Tom has worked professionally as a chef as well as cooking on various yoga retreats. In his spare time, he enjoys wild cooking and camping with friends trying new fire techniques. We can cook a variety of different dishes to suit your needs and dietary requirements.
Upon booking our wild cooking experience, we will find out what you like to eat and will design a menu based on your needs. We may also suggest some different dishes to push you out of your comfort zone, but this is your experience and we want to make sure you have a great time.
Tom will give you an introduction to Hill Farm, Health and Safety and what to expect from the day (along with a cuppa of course!). He will then get the cooking started! Every person in the group will get involved and he will share his experiences of wild cooking.
Depending on the time of year, Tom will take you out on a mini forage around the land and also show you around Hill Farm. When your dish is cooked, you can enjoy it whist overlooking our wonderful view of The Wye Valley. Tom is very personable and by the end of this experience you will have lots of hints and tips to take away with you to start your own wild cooking! We can also cater for family groups, and will keep the children entertained with a scavenger hunt and swing building, as well as also getting involved with the cooking. Any further questions, do not hesitate to ask.
