About Us

Hill Farm, Tintern is a family run business run by husband and wife team Hayley and Tom Court.

It has always been our dream to run our own tourism business and in 2015 after Hayley was made redundant, we saw an opportunity start a business in an industry we love. We purchased Hill Farm in 2018 we purchased Hill Farm and converted into an Eco Retreat Centre. We run and host retreats as well as families, couples and friends in our self contained yurts and room with a view.

Tom is a local lad and met Hayley at university in Birmingham over 22 years ago. We have 3 daughters and 2 dogs, love the outdoors and passionate about environmental protection. We look forward to welcoming you.

Visited Hill Farm for my 30th birthday last weekend and had a blast! We hired all the yurts and the hot tub area too. It was the perfect place for a big get together of friends and family. The views of the valley below are beautiful and the hosts ensure you are fully prepared for your stay. It rained heavily when we visited and it was not an issue as there is plenty of cover along with the yurts etc. I will hopefully be back for another big occasion :)

Amazing 4 nights spent in an 18ft yurt. Went to sleep with the sound of Tawny Owls and woke up to Buzzards right outside the yurt. Gorgeous views across the Wye. Very comfortable inside and a fully equipped kitchen outside (under cover) meant we had a very relaxing stay!

Hayley and Tom live in such a beautiful place. We absolutely loved our time there. The yurt was cozy, homely and very clean…as were all the facilities. Breakfast was amazing! The walks were spectacular but the Dry Forest Bathing is something I’ll never forget. Tom has a wealth of knowledge about the areas history, the woodland, the science behind Dry Forest bathing…but the emersion of being in the forest was magical. I didn’t stop smiling from the start to the end of the experience. I am so grateful for Hayley, Tom and their family sharing their beautiful home. I can’t wait to try one of Hayley’s yoga retreat!

I hosted my first Sound in Nature retreat last weekend at Hill Farm. We were a group of 14 from Birmingham. The weekend was perfect with the bonus of spring like weather in October. Hayley and Tom were the perfect hosts with everything considered, super friendly and always on hand with any issues settling in to the new space. We had soundbaths, fires, outdoor hot tub, saunas and the highlight was Tom’s Forest Bathing experience. We are definitely booking to come back next year. Thank you for a stunning stay.
