The Spa
Perched high on Barbadoes Hill above Tintern, the Eco-Spa at Hill Farm sits at the edge of a 15-acre retreat with some of the most breathtaking views in the Wye Valley — on a clear evening, you can even see Tintern Abbey in the distance. The setting is genuinely special: open hillside air, birdsong, and that particular stillness you only find somewhere properly away from it all.
The sauna itself is wood-fired and the plunge pool fed by a natural spring water supply. Move between the heat of the sauna and the shock of the cold plunge, then warm back up again — it's a simple rhythm, but one that leaves you feeling completely reset. Whether you're coming to unwind mid-week, mark the end of a long week, or just carve out a couple of hours to properly switch off, an evening in the Eco-Spa under the open sky is hard to beat.

We now offer standalone Eco-Spa sessions on Wednesdays and Sundays, open to individuals and small groups.
Session times (Wendesdays & Sundays):
4:00pm – 6:00pm
6:00pm – 8:00pm
8:00pm – 10:00pm
Choose between:
Access to the sauna, cold plunge and shower. Price: £18 per person.
Use of sauna, hot tub, cold plunge and shower. Group bookings only: £275 per session - up to 6 people.
All sessions are capped at 6 persons to keep things peaceful. Bring swimwear, a towel, and a dressing gown if you have one.
